Storybook Character Day
12 – 4 p.m.
Imagination comes to life when
children of all ages meet some of their favorite storybook
characters throughout the Zoo. Characters include Brother and Sister
Berenstain Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, Clifford the Big Red Dog,
Winnie the Pooh, Curious George, Junie B. Jones, Madeline, & Mouse

Ronald McDonald’s Movie Night
Enjoy a fun family movie under the
stars at the Zoo! Special $5 Zoo admission after 5 pm includes
pre-movie activities, games, Zoo exhibits open until dusk and a
popular family movie at sundown. Free for Zoo members. Check

Superhero Day!
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Meet some of your favorite superheroes
and find out how you can become a hero in your own backyard. Dress
like a superhero and you’ll receive a fun prize. Be sure to pick up
a free copy of the Zoo’s Toyota Backyard Action Hero Guidebook -
full of fun facts, awesome animal pictures and cool activities.

Calling all Princesses
and Pirates!
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Presented by Kentucky Education
Savings Plan Trust
You can meet your favorite storybook
princesses and pirates and this fun event. Dress as your favorite
prince, princess or pirate and receive a special treat.
Royal Tea Party!
Join us for a fun tea party
with a
storybook prince and princess.
Separate ticket required.
Dates: September 20 and 21
11 a.m. and 1
p.m.
Location: Gheens Room, Islands Pavilion.
Enjoy juice
“tea”, McDonald Land cookies and other fun activities fit for a
