Don’t miss the Louisville Zoo’s spring and summer camps and classes

The Louisville Zoo is truly a “living classroom,” and the Zoo’s Education Department offers exciting “hands-on,” “minds-on” experiences for Zoo visitors throughout the year.

The Zoo has programs for all ages, from pre-schoolers to adults, including Summer Safari Day Camp, Two by Twos, Two by Threes, Zooper Kids and Teen Safari. You can even picnic with the butterflies, be a Zoo “detective” and spend the night in Gorilla Forest.

Children’s programs tap into their natural curiosity about their world and are designed to meet the specific developmental needs of each age group. Classes and camps are kept small to make it possible for educators to provide plenty of individualized attention. Teen and adult programs delve into more challenging topics while family programs offer the best of both worlds.

By exploring the world around us, we can all participate in protecting our environment today and in the future!
