Dinosaurs! opens; kids to view exhibit

WHAT | This is the grand opening of Dinosaurs!, a temporary exhibit through September 30 that will feature 16 mammoth, super life-like animatronic dinosaurs. Seventh-grade Newburg Middle School students who are currently participating in the School at the Zoo program will be the first children to experience the magic of incredible, futuristic technology and the colossal robotic creatures that roar, snarl and move.

WHEN | Monday, March 22 at 10:30 a.m. (please arrive by 10:15 to be transported to the area)

WHO | Louisville Zoo Director John Walczak, Billings Productions Prehistoric Display Advisor Robby Gilbert and Louisville Zoo “resident dinosaur expert” Doug McCoy (he also serves as the Zoo’s Assistant Education Curator)

WHERE | Louisville Zoo – Please call prior to coverage and sign in at the receptionist’s desk in the administration building. You will be transported to Dinosaurs!

NOTE | Dinosaurs! will be at the Zoo through September 30. A special attraction fee of $5 applies for non-members in addition to regular Zoo admission and $4 for Louisville Zoo members. Children age 2 and under are free. Groups of 15 or more may call (502) 238-5348 in advance for group discounts.
