In 2008, we worked hard to get individuals
to make a pledge to reduce their CO2 emissions. We also
started talking to local companies about making their own
pledges. As we worked with these groups, we discovered that
even small changes in a company's policy meant large savings
in CO2 emissions.
We decided to make this our goal in 2009 -
to reach even more companies and help them make changes in
their policies to use less energy. We have developed an
Energy (Use) Evaluation Kit which we will offer free to any
local business or group wanting to help the environment. The
kit includes options that are easy to implement, with little
to no cost. All have the added benefit of saving money.

importance of using less energy.
