SUPPORT YOUR ZOO

WHAT IMPRESSION
WILL YOU LEAVE?

Everyone leaves an impression or memory of his or her life with others.  A person is remembered for the weight of his or her character, measured in such terms as values and generosity.

When we leave positive impressions behind, we enhance the lives of our friends and loved ones.  We give them a path to follow . . . an interest to pursue.

Donors of the non-profit Louisville Zoo leave their message to others through personal donations, volunteer work, memberships and participation in special events.

Another means of making a lasting impression is through thoughtful estate planning.  Over the years, many people who are committed to the Zoo’s mission, “to better the bond between the people and the planet”, have proudly left gifts to the Zoo in their estates.  When you include the Louisville Zoo in the final nature of your estate, you declare to family and friends that you believe in and care about the Zoo’s founding mission.  Your gift becomes a clear declaration of your values.

An estate gift can provide needed funds to maintain existing operations, expand international species survival research, establish an education center, purchase animal provisions or build a playground.  And all Zoo initiatives are aligned with its strategic and business plans for growth to accommodate more than 840,000 visitors per calendar year!

Estate gifts often start a trend with family and friends.  People close to you may recall your generosity and thoughtfulness.  Your gift could unlock resources that otherwise may not have surfaced without your direction.

Please look at the links to your right and see how your individual wishes might make a lasting impression on others.

Thank you for caring,
